Terms of Use

These terms apply to quotations, bookings and services provided by LinCargo Freight Ltd.

Quotations

Quotations are valid for the period shown on the document (normally 14 days) and are based on the cargo details you provide. Final charges may change if the actual weight, volume, commodity or documentation differs from what was quoted, or if carriers, ports or authorities change their tariffs.

Duties and taxes

Import duties, VAT and other government charges are estimates until assessed by the Kenya Revenue Authority or the relevant authority at destination, and are payable by the client.

Payment

Invoices are payable by the due date shown. Cargo is released on receipt of cleared funds. Storage, demurrage or detention charges arising from late payment or late documents are for the client’s account.

Liability

We act as a freight forwarder and clearing agent. Our liability is limited in accordance with standard international freight forwarding conditions and the carrier’s terms. We strongly recommend marine cargo insurance, which we can arrange on request.
